Frequently Asked Questions

New or potential clients often ask many of the same questions when inquiring about their fishing charter and many of them are below. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

1. Do we need a Fishing License?

Yes, anyone 17 and older needs a fishing license. You will need your fishing license present so we can tag any Redfish over 28". If you get your BONUS Tag you can keep 2 Redfish over 28". Children under 17 need a Red Drum Tag, also known as a child’s tag, in order to keep their Redfish over 28".

2. Do we need to bring any fishing equipment?

No. We will supply the fishing gear

3. What do I need to bring?

A cooler with your drinks & snacks. Alcohol is welcomed but please drink responsibly. Don't forget to bring comfortable shoes, camera, hat, polarized glasses and sunscreen.

4. Is there a bathroom on the boat?

NO bathroom on the boat

5. Can we keep the fish we catch?

Yes, as long the fish is of legal size.

6. What do we do if it rains?

If there is more than a 90% chance of rain with thunderstorms, we reschedule for a later date.

We always let you know 12-24 hours before your trip if we need to reschedule.

7. What happens if we don't catch any fish?

We catch 95% of the time but if some some reason we don't catch any fish on the day of your trip, the Captain will reschedule another trip at no charge.

8. Do you clean the fish we catch?

Fish cleaning is NOT included but is available. There are fish cleaners that will clean your catch in the Marina.

9. Do you have a cancellation policy?

Your fishing trip can be cancelled and deposit refunded provided that we are given a 2-week notice.

The decision to cancel a trip, due to inclement weather, is typically made 12 - 24 hours in advance.

When this happens, we will reschedule your fishing trip for a later date.

10. How much notice to book a trip?

Once the required deposit is received, your name gets added to our calendar.

11. How do I pay my balance?

Your balance can be paid in cash or credit card on day of the trip. (There is a service fee of 3.5% for each credit card transaction)

12. Where do we meet?

Depends which fishing package you are booking.
